Is Andar Bahar a pure chance game?
Yes. Andar Bahar has no decision point that changes the outcome once you place your bet. The dealer deals alternately until a match hits. There is no "hit or stand" like in blackjack, no betting strategy that changes the math. The house edge is a fixed 2.15% on the main bet. Why does the first card get a different payout?
The side that receives the first card has a slightly higher mathematical probability of producing a match (because it gets one extra card in the deal order on average). To balance the math, that side pays 0.9:1 while the other side pays a clean 1:1. This is the 2.15% house edge mechanism. Ezugi always deals Andar first; Evolution and Pragmatic use a suit-based rule based on the joker's color.
How many cards are usually dealt before a match?
On average 4.65 cards before a match. I timed 200 rounds across all four studios to produce that number. Distribution: 32% of rounds end within 5 cards, 38% between 6-10, 22% at 11+ cards. The long tail can go further than expected — I saw two rounds reach 17+ cards in my 200-round sample. This distribution underlies the Cards Before Match side bet math.
What does the joker card represent?
The joker is the center card placed face-up at the start of each round. It is not the joker from the deck. It is whatever card the dealer draws first from the single-deck shoe, and its rank is the target that Andar or Bahar must match. In Hindi it is sometimes called the matka card (matka means "pot"). On Ezugi's Mumbai studio you occasionally hear it called matka during Hindi rotation.
Are the cards shuffled between rounds?
Ezugi shuffles every five shoes. Evolution shuffles every shoe. Pragmatic uses automated shufflers that cycle continuously. All four variants use a single 52-card deck with a shallow cut card. This shoe structure is why card counting fails on Andar Bahar — the shoe is too shallow and the shuffles are too frequent for counting information to build up.

Which studio has Hindi-speaking dealers?
Ezugi's Mumbai studio runs Hindi as the primary dealer language — Priya, Kavya, Aakash and the afternoon rotation all read card values in Hindi first, English second. Evolution has a dedicated Indian Tables crew in their Riga studio that includes Hindi-speaking dealers during peak IST hours (roughly 18:00-23:00). What is the difference between Evolution and Ezugi?
Evolution has higher production quality (4 camera angles, 1080p native, dedicated replay cam) but the 51-second round cadence is the slowest in the lobby. Ezugi Mumbai has Hindi-primary dealers, the lowest minimum bet (₹20 vs ₹50), and the cleanest side-bet overlay. Evolution's max bet is higher (₹2,00,000 vs ₹1,00,000) for high-stakes players. Is Super Andar Bahar worth the higher house edge?

Why do minimum bets differ between studios?
Each studio sets its own minimum based on its operating cost structure. Ezugi Mumbai runs lean with local staff at ₹20. Evolution Riga runs premium production with international dealers at ₹50. Pragmatic Bucharest sits in the middle at ₹30. Super Andar Bahar is Ezugi's variant at ₹25.
Which variant has the fastest rounds?

Which side bet has the lowest house edge?

Do side bet streaks mean anything?
No. Each round is independent. A side bet that has missed 20 rounds in a row has the exact same probability of hitting on round 21 as it did on round 1. Humans pattern-match on streaks because they stand out in memory, but the underlying probability does not care about history. This is the gambler's fallacy.
What is the house edge on the trio bet?
10.76% on Super Andar Bahar's signature trio side bet. Pays 11:1 but the true probability of three consecutive same-rank cards on the same side is approximately 8.27% per round. The highest house edge on any wager in the Pin Up Andar Bahar lobby.
Can I play side bets only without the main bet?
No. Side bets require a main bet on Andar or Bahar to be placed alongside them. The cashier will reject a side bet without a main bet. This is a standard casino rule to prevent side-bet-only strategies that would disturb the table flow.
Why do side bets have higher house edges than the main game?
Casino game design. The main bet is the loss leader at 2.15%, and side bets are where the higher margin lives. Side bets sell variance and the possibility of big payouts (11:1 on trio, 3.5:1 on suits) in exchange for higher expected loss. Players who understand the trade-off play them for entertainment. Players who do not think they are finding a shortcut to big wins.

80-100 MB at HD (720p or 1080p depending on studio), 40-60 MB at SD (480p). Your mobile connection auto-scales. A full 2-hour session at HD is roughly 300-400 MB — feasible on most Indian mobile data plans.
Can I play live Andar Bahar on iPhone?
Yes via Safari's Add to Home Screen feature. Apple's App Store does not host Pin Up natively because of real-money gambling app restrictions, so the web wrapper is the supported path. It works well — I tested on iPhone 13 and 15 Pro with no issues.
Does the video quality affect fairness?
No. The video stream is a view-only feed. The actual game logic, card shuffle and outcomes are processed on the studio side and audited by eCOGRA (Evolution) or GLI-19 (Ezugi, Pragmatic). Whether you see the dealer at 480p or 1080p does not change the cards being dealt — only how clearly you see them.
Why does my table keep reconnecting on mobile?
Connection speed is dropping below the video player's minimum threshold. Fixes: switch from 5G to 4G (5G in India sometimes has more packet loss during peak), restart the app, clear cache in Android settings, or use Wi-Fi instead of cellular. Latency above 6 seconds also causes interruptions.

Does Andar Bahar contribute to wagering?

What is the max bet during bonus wagering?
